My pre-lit Christmas tree is freaking out, help please!?
The built-in lights are flashing rapidly where they never did before. It’s not just a strand, it’s every single one. They kinda look like strobe lights and they’re going wild. The switch inside the tree clicks very fast in time with the strobing lights. What’s wrong? How can I fix my tree in time for Christmas?
This is the third year we’ve had this tree and it’s been very reliable. It wasn’t cheap and we got it from a reputable store. This happened out of the blue. It was working fine until it suddenly started flashing. We have no idea as to what caused it or how we can fix it.
You could try resetting it, if that doesn’t do it then you need to check each light and see if any are burnt out – if they are, replace the burnt out ones.
